Freedom Walk Event Refund, Cancellation, and Change Policy

Freedom Walk is an awareness and fundraising event and there are no refunds on registration fees/apparel due to cancellations.* The Freedom Walk event will occur rain or shine. Hope Inspire Love reserves the right to reschedule or cancel in extreme circumstances. In that event, there will be no refunds. Rather, the participant’s registration fee will be used as a donation to Hope Inspire Love, Inc.

*Cancellation: Your registration is a fundraising commitment to the anti-trafficking and awareness Freedom Walk event. Your registration may be canceled only under the following extenuating circumstances:

  • Medical injury, with a valid doctor’s note on office letterhead
  • Pregnancy, with a valid doctor’s note on office letterhead
  • Military deployment, with a valid letter from the commanding officer

Upon cancellation based on one of the above extenuating circumstances, you will be released of your 2023 commitment the registration fee covers. No refunds, transfers between individuals, nor any deferments to a future Freedom Walk or other anti-trafficking event will be permitted. All program fees and funds raised to-date through the registration fee will be donated to Hope Inspire Love.

Rain Cancellation: This fundraising event will take place rain or shine (with the exception of severe thunderstorm weather – at which time the event will be rescheduled or canceled). All program fees and funds raised to-date though the registration fee will be donated to Hope Inspire Love. There will not be any refunds or exchanges.

Apparel Size Exchange: In the event that the apparel size you selected during the registration process does not fit, we will gladly exchange it for another size (if we have sizes available in stock). There will be no apparel size exchanges after September 15, 2023. You will be required to pay your own shipping to return the apparel that will be exchanged.

Freedom Walk is an event owned by Hope Inspire Love and is responsible for all of the costs associated with it. All proceeds of this fundraising event will go to Hope Inspire Love and its Trauma-informed Mentorship Program.
