Exciting News: She’s Somebody’s Daughter Joins Hope Inspire Love!

The anti-human trafficking nonprofit, She’s Somebody’s Daughter, is becoming part of Hope Inspire Love, bringing together two organizations with a deep commitment to serving individuals experiencing sexual exploitation and human trafficking.

After careful consideration, much prayer, counsel, and discernment, the Boards of Directors for both organizations unanimously approved for She’s Somebody’s Daughter to join Hope Inspire Love. This expansion allows us to combine our efforts and provide improved, more collaborative services across the region (now reaching 11 Pennsylvania counties, including Lancaster, Montgomery, Dauphin, York, Berks, Lebanon, Cumberland, Lehigh, Perry, Adams, and Franklin counties), while continuing to stand for prevention, protection, and hope.

As our organizations come together, we are strategically combining resources, expertise, and capacity to serve more survivors with greater impact. This partnership expands access to meaningful opportunities and comprehensive support for exploited and vulnerable women and youth, while strengthening the long-term stability of the essential programs communities rely on.

This isn’t just a joining of names; it’s a powerful union of missions and passion to create a more effective force for good in our communities. Grounded in shared purpose and aligned values, the future work will expand services, enhance programs, and multiply impact.

Thank you for your faithful prayer, generosity, and partnership with Hope Inspire Love. Because of your support, lives have been protected, awareness has grown, and prevention efforts across Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania have been strengthened.

Frequently Asked Questions

HIL & SSD Merger

Why are Hope Inspire Love and She’s Somebody’s Daughter merging?

Hope Inspire Love and She’s Somebody’s Daughter are two nonprofit organizations that have merged into a single entity. This merger is uniting the strengths and resources of both organizations to expand services, enhance programs, and create greater impact across the communities of Central and Southeastern Pennsylvania.

Under the strategic tagline “Better Together, Stronger Together,” both nonprofits are combining into a stronger, more resilient, and mission-aligned organization that champions collaboration and community building. By joining forces, we are expanding our reach and deepening our impact, delivering vital restorative care and outreach services to meet the growing needs of the women and youth we serve.

Is this merger happening because of financial challenges?

No. This merger is not being driven by financial difficulties. Both organizations are in a strong and healthy financial position, and this decision reflects strategic opportunity rather than financial necessity. It is the natural next step in a partnership that has been built over many years of successful collaboration. Our organizations have worked closely together for over eight years, and through that experience, we’ve seen firsthand how well our missions, values, programs, and approaches align.

By formally joining together, we can build on that strong foundation to work even more effectively and efficiently. Combining our complementary strengths and existing infrastructure will allow us to streamline operations, reduce duplication, and focus more resources on advancing our shared mission. This merger is about opportunity—strengthening our impact, deepening our collaboration, and positioning us to serve our communities even better together.

Can you tell me more about She’s Somebody’s Daughter?

She’s Somebody’s Daughter, Inc., is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that began in 2012 as an awareness initiative about the links between sex trafficking, pornography, and the commercial sex industry. They also extend prevention education initiatives to community members, law enforcement, and civic organizations. Today, they also provide “Outreach” as the first step to begin to build trusting relationships and offer holistic support to people affected by or vulnerable to sexual exploitation by meeting them wherever they are—strip clubs, motels, massage businesses, truck stops, homeless shelters, prisons and jails, rehabs, and online. Through consistent presence, She’s Somebody’s Daughter shows up with food, gifts, love, and hope—not as rescuers, but to erase the lines of separation and build genuine community. They honor women within the commercial sex industry, with no agenda but to build relationships and offer a holistic support system for them.

Will the mission change?

Our missions have always been to eradicate human trafficking and sexual exploitation and provide restorative care, education, and outreach. Both organizations are grounded in shared purpose and aligned values, and with deep hope for the future, this merger represents a bold step forward, ensuring continuity and opportunities to expand impact. By aligning missions and honoring shared heritage, both organizations are advancing an unwavering commitment to the One vulnerable individual, to the One victim, and to the One survivor.

Why was this partner organization chosen?

Hope Inspire Love has been partners with She’s Somebody’s Daughter for over 8 years, and we recognized the values-aligned decision to join forces to better reach and provide services to those that we serve. Under the strategic tagline “Better Together, Stronger Together,” the nonprofits are combining into a stronger, more resilient, and mission-aligned organization that champions collaboration and community building. By joining forces, the two organizations will expand their reach and deepen their impact, delivering vital restorative care and outreach services to meet the growing needs of the women and youth they serve.

Will my donations continue to support the same programs I originally funded?

Yes. We commit to honor all donations that have come in and will continue to be gifted to support the same programs for which these gifts were originally intended. Such restricted gifts will not be used for anything other than what the donor intended.

How will this merger increase the impact of our donations?

By joining forces, we are combining resources to reach more survivors and exploited women, offer more opportunities, and ensure long-term sustainability for the critical programs our communities depend on.

The merger is expanding Hope Inspire Love’s reach into 11 Pennsylvania counties, including Lancaster, Montgomery, Dauphin, York, Berks, Lebanon, Cumberland, Lehigh, Perry, Adams, and Franklin counties. This expansion brings all those services offered into one organization, multiplying impact and allowing more survivors in our community to receive long-term services and support through their healing journey. This consolidation will help meet survivors right where they are at, and decrease the demand for vulnerability and revictimization. Our announcement video says 8 counties, but we’ve added three more since the recording of the video, for a total of 11 Pennsylvania counties.

What opportunities will this merger create?

Together, we are creating a distinctive model to deliver expertise and innovative approaches to restorative care services that help more women and youth move toward stability, independence, and freedom. This merger will also create a greater scale of expanded services, stronger advocacy, better funding capacity, and improved long-term sustainability.

How will this merger affect volunteers and volunteer opportunities?

Our volunteers remain an essential part of our mission, and that will not change. The merger is designed to strengthen our collective impact while building on the relationships and programs that already make our organizations successful.

For volunteers, our goal is to make the experience even stronger by bringing together shared resources, ideas, and opportunities. While there may be some adjustments over time as we align processes and programs, our commitment to supporting, valuing, and engaging volunteers will remain the same. This merger will create opportunities for volunteers to be part of a larger, more connected organization with an even greater ability to serve our community. Most importantly, the dedication and contributions of our volunteers will continue to be at the heart of everything we do.

When will the merger be officially final?

The merger is awaiting final approval from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is expected to be finalized in the summer of 2026.

What happens to donations already made?
